When
it comes to web design, we aim at hitting the mark every time. The "mark" is
your web site vision and purpose, and we do everything we can to grab hold
of your vision and make your site reflect your business accurately. Through
our award-winning services we'll work with you every step of the way to
design and publish a web site which will fulfill your online objectives. We can take care of whatever services you need - registering your domain
name; building your web site; providing a quality hosting solution;
optimizing your site with keyword-rich content; providing online marketing
strategies; registering your site with search engines, and more. We'll design a
site that is customized to reflect the qualities of your particular business
or organization, as our
portfolio
demonstrates.
We
believe there are three essential ingredients
for developing successful web sites: (1) the
"technical" involves adding the smarts to a web site that give it
power and responsiveness; (2) the "creative"
gives it panache and sparkle and makes it inviting to explore; and, (3) in
the end you need good "content" for
without it you have nothing to offer. It’s the blend of these three elements
that produce effective web sites that draw new visitors and keep existing
readers coming
back. We also believe
that business web sites must provide a competitive
advantage through our "Three T's model".
That is:
attracting targeted
Traffic, building online
Trust, and stimulating online financial
and/or information Transactions. |
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
Every
web site built at OnTrack Designs is custom to your situation,
so the first step is learning your specific needs (basic,
content management, e-commerce, databases). Here is a typical
process and some of the information and services you'll receive
at these steps.
1. Analyze Your Needs - We ask you several questions. Who
is your target audience? What are your key services or products?
What are your successes? What are your challenges? Where do you
see your business going? What do your customers need online?
What do you need to accomplish online? These are just a few of
the questions we ask.
2. Agree on a Proposal - We give you our best
recommendation to address your web site needs and provide you
with costs for services. Our Web Site Development Agreement
outlines such elements as the number of pages, the project cost,
the timeframe for deliverables, and more.
3. Collect Content - We provide you with a list of what
we need of you. Photos, content, keywords, etc. to
complete specific project aspects. You'll know what is expected
of you.
4. Build Design - We initially develop a homepage
prototype and do not move on toward developing secondary pages
until the homepage layout and design elements have been approved. It's important to define what you want to see and, more
importantly, what your site users need to see. Once the
adjustments are made to the homepage and a "look and feel" is
finalized, we start building secondary pages and
programming functionalities at a BETA site.
5. Review Results - You are able to see your web site
coming to life at a BETA address and we can work with you to
round out the site without meeting face to face. You can
communicate with our office about any changes needed as the site
is developed at the BETA address.
6. Tweak The Details - Finishing touches and technical
info get squared away and we schedule a "GO LIVE" date for your
new web site. That's an exciting time!
7. Publish - OnTrack Designs sends your new web site LIVE
to the Internet for the world to see and use.
What we just outlined above is a very condensed version of our
web process with several details left out, but it gives you a
good idea as to what the process involves. We realize that there
are certainly questions that come to mind as you read through
this process and we'd be happy to answer any questions you may
have. Just

our office.
